It’s free to visit\, family friendly\, and a lovely way to support growers\, bakers\, and makers while taking a relaxed coastal drive. \nExpect festive displays\, seasonal treats\, and a Meet the Maker day where you can chat with stand owners and learn what’s in season. \nWhat to expect at Farm Stand Light Up Tour\n\nA map-guided\, self-drive route connecting participating farm stands across Salt Spring Island.\nSeasonal treats\, artisan goods\, fresh produce and small pop-up makers at many stands.\nA Meet the Maker day on a designated weekend where producers host drop-in chats and samples.\nA low-key\, community-first vibe that’s perfect for a daytime outing or a twilit drive.\n\nDates and map info\n\nDates: November 30 & December 1\, 14\, 15.\nSpecial “Meet the Makers” hours: December 14 (some stands open 12 PM–3 PM).\nEvening light-up: Some stands remain open late (past 8 PM) during tour weekends.\nStand hours: Vary by farm stand so each stand has its own schedule (check the interactive map).\n\nLocation\n\nVenue: Multiple farm stands across Salt Spring Island\, BC.\nAddress: There’s no single address so you navigate through the interactive map which shows 40+ participating farm stands\, each with its own location.\n\nCost and registration\n\nFree for visitors.\nFarm stands that want to join usually sign up through the Salt Spring Island Farm Stands organizer page.\n\nVisitor tips\nPlan your route ahead and leave extra time for short drives between stands.
