DESCRIPTION:Radicchio is an incredibly diverse and cold hearty vegetable and brings flavour\, nutrition and beauty to our tables during the cold months. Supporting the cultivation of vegetables that thrive during cold Fall and Winter months strengthens our resilience and food security here on island\, and makes the darker days much more delicious! Join us in celebrating this vegetable and all of the creative ways it can be enjoyed!\nPrice of ticket includes samples of delicious dishes prepared by :\nTrue Love Pizza\nOxeye Galiano\nFrancis Bread\nLove’s Galettes\nDeli Kinome\nThe Hen and Hound Brasserie & Feast\nWoodshed Provisions\nNance Bakes\nPacos Tacos\nCassette Bar & Cafe\nPlus tea from Tea Mistress and more!\nLocal radicchio growers include Bright Farm\, Bullock Lake Farm\, Heyday Farm\, Duck Creek Farm\, Quarry Farm\, and Glorious Organics Farm (from Aldergrove BC).\nFinally\, cool merch will be available from Culinary Breeding Network\, the organization connecting farmers\, chefs and seed breeders that is the inspiration for this event!\nThe event is not-for-profit; all funds will go to covering food and event costs and the time and investment from the chefs. 5% of ticket sales will be donated to Stqeeye’ Learning Society. Feel free to donate if you have the means\, extra funds will go to creating an even better event next year!
