You will meet other writers and have the opportunity to discuss your work\, celebrate achievements\, troubleshoot challenges\, and participate in monthly readings.\nPoppy’s offers an inspiring and comfortable place to work\, with tea and coffee on hand. Briony and other Salt Spring women understood the full implications of clearcutting the Garry Oak forests and rewrote its narrative. Their work inspired other island communities and contributed to positive social change.
