DESCRIPTION:The Royal Victoria Yacht Club (RVYC) is hosting a free Open House Expo between 1600-1800h on April 10\, 2026 and you are invited! \nAs you may know\, RVYC is a member-only club\, but for one day only\, the Club is transforming itself into a BIG welcome fair for curious potential members.  Round up your friends and family and register for free to receive a welcome pack and learn more about the benefits of membership\, get all your questions about joining the yacht club answered and maybe even win a T-shirt. \nOpen House Expo Activities\n\n‘Welcome Aboard’ photobooth\nActivities and games to play with RVYC merch to be won\n15 information booths to answer any of your questions\nColouring-in competition\, Mario Kart tournament and Scavenger Hunt with a prize for the kids\nFree tea/coffee\, candy floss & cookies\nCredits and gifts for new members who apply for membership on the day\nRadio controlled mini boat racing\n‘Skippers on duty’ who are current members happy to chat or offer to be your proposer or seconder for your application if needed\nA chance to win a free sailing lesson\nWelcome speech from the Commodore\, guided tours & more\n\nIt’s a great chance to see the Club in full swing and either bring along some friends who are thinking of joining\, or just bring yourself or your kids to be a part of the day celebrating RVYC. \nTo register for free\, click here.  All ages welcome. \nIt’s going to be a lot of fun and we would love to see you there.

Look for the Days Inn shuttle with a “BC Boat Show” sign on both the front and back. The shuttle will depart shortly after each ferry arrival from the kiosk near the short-term parking lot.
