Painting/drawing materials will be provided or bring your own.\nDate/time: Saturday 16 November\, 11 am – 2 pm\nLocation: by the Mount Erskine Juniper trailhead\, near 270 Trustees Trail (we will move indoors nearby in case of rain)\nCost: Free\nMonica Tap is a painter interested in how location and landscape can trigger memory\, and has recently been using painting as a form of activism and community resistance in the fight to save Ontario Place in Toronto\, a public park\, from becoming a private spa.\nInstagram: @monica.tap\, @ontarioplace4all.\n⠂⠂⠂\nallthingy is a multi-purpose roadside platform for production and presentation\, operated by artists Germaine Koh and Ian Verchere and our neighbours. We gratefully acknowledge funding support from the Canada Council for the Arts towards the 2023-24 Hemlock Micro Studio artist residency and allthingy programming.
