Special\, valuable volumes are appraised and displayed separately. All proceeds support Salt Spring Literacy programs for children\, youth\, adults and seniors. \nBooks accepted and not accepted\nAccepted examples\nRecent fiction and literature\, children’s and YA\, arts and crafts\, gardening\, cooking\, biographies\, history\, science\, and more. \nNot accepted examples\nBooks with missing pages\, moldy or damaged books\, textbooks\, workbooks\, dictionaries\, Bibles or other religious texts\, magazines\, and older technical computer books. \nVolunteers and membership\nVolunteers are essential to the sale\, from sorting donations to floor shifts during the event.
