DESCRIPTION:We are thrilled to welcome you to Nectar 2026 for five days of stellar music\, inspired art\, and meaningful connection as we celebrate the Summer Solstice in the best ways we know.​ \nNectar Festival is a curated\, immersive experience showcasing the best electronic music from across our rich region with select international artists. Our gathering unfolds among art installations\, workshops\, performances\, and creative expressions of all types. \nWe are returning to our beautiful venue on enchanted Salt Spring Island with newly expanded camping and parking\, while maintaining limited capacity to ensure the experience remains both epic and intimate. \nThis year’s theme draws inspiration from Chinese lunar mythology as we invoke the spirit of the Fire Horse—symbol of courage and our instinct for freedom. As we emerge from the Snake’s shedding of old norms and systems\, the Fire Horse charges forward into an uncertain future with fierce vitality and determination. In a time of global disruption\, we embrace and embody this energy to remember the potential of collective renewal and liberation. \nNew features of the NECTAR EXPERIENCE include:\n• The debut multimedia performance of Abstrakt Sonance & The Nectar \nOrchestra feat Kytami\, Rob Christian\, Sosita and more \n• Our new Sunset Stage at the epic viewpoint curated by Low Indigo\n\n• Expanded Tea & Elixir Lounge / Spa Sanctuary for maximum rejuvenation between dance sessions \n• More announcements coming soon! \nNectar is a Co-Creative Festival—over a quarter of attendees actively contribute to producing the experience\, and everyone brings the vibe!
