DESCRIPTION:The Saturna Island Canada Day Lamb Barbeque is a public community festival with music\, entertainment\, and a special prepared lamb bbq meal.\n\n\nEntry to the event is FREE – no ticket needed.\nThere are other food options at the event and no tickets are needed for those. \nThese tickets are for the Lamb Barbeque meal – lamb and accompaniments and tea/coffee and cookies.ONLINE purchasing is for minimum of 4 tickets.Tickets are ALSO available in-person starting at 10am at the Ticket Booth. \nVERY IMPORTANT Your virtual receipt must be exchanged on the day for physical tickets for the meal. \nWe have never run out of lamb! \nREFUND POLICY: no refunds after 28th JuneThis event is entirely run by volunteers and is a major fundraiser for many important community services on our island. Thank you for participating! \n_____________________________________________________________________________________________________ \nThe 2026 \, 77th Canada Day Lamb Barbeque – Wednesday July 1st. \nAll are invited to this in-person\, family friendly celebration and fundraiser. There will be many fun activities\, games\, entertainment\, makers market\, food vendors and a beer & wine garden.On-site at Winter Cove we barbeque local Saturna raised lambs and offer a full meal prepared and served by our community volunteers. \nLamb meals require tickets – available online (min of 4) or on the day in-person.(Online tickets must be exchanged for physical tickets on the day – between 10 and 12 at the ticket booth) \nMeal includes: Local Saturna lamb barbequed over an open fire and sliced right onto the plate\, cole slaw\, Spanish rice\, bun\, coffee or tea and cookies.
