Teak
Table

Elegant Entertaining on Your Boat

Entertaining onboard does not need to mean elaborate menus, mountains of dishes or spending the evening tucked away in the galley. Teak Table is about making people feel welcome — beautifully, practically and without missing the evening.

From serving pieces that earn their storage space to pantry shortcuts, easy sauces and unfussy recipes, this is my collection of ideas for putting something lovely on the table and then actually sitting down to enjoy it.

PERFECT FOR

Boaters Who Love Having People Onboard

For the host(ess) who wants the table to feel considered without turning dinner into a performance. For the boater who appreciates beautiful things that are also practical. And for anyone who believes entertaining is really about making room for people to linger.

A NOTE FROM MISSY

The Table Is Where the Stories Happen.

For me, entertaining onboard has never been about perfection. It is about making people feel welcome.

I love a beautiful table, but I also want to be sitting at it. Over the years I have learned which pieces are worth finding room for, which ingredients make life easier and which shortcuts nobody needs to know were shortcuts.

I wrote Teak Table for the way we actually entertain on boats: limited storage, compact galleys, changing plans and friends who somehow always stay for one more story.
