Join painter and activist Monica Tap for a plein air session on Saturday, 16 November, at the allthingy roadside platform, in Salt Spring Island.
Monica will guide a hands-on plein air session while conversing about painting as a form of activism, focusing on her current involvement at Ontario Place. Painting/drawing materials will be provided or bring your own.
Date/time: Saturday 16 November, 11 am – 2 pm
Location: by the Mount Erskine Juniper trailhead, near 270 Trustees Trail (we will move indoors nearby in case of rain)

Monica Tap is a painter interested in how location and landscape can trigger memory, and has recently been using painting as a form of activism and community resistance in the fight to save Ontario Place in Toronto, a public park, from becoming a private spa.
