Our Favourite Poems
This month we depart from our usual format. No featured poet. No open mic where people read their own poems. Instead, an opportunity for everyone to bring and share poems they love written by somebody else. Everyone is encouraged to bring a favourite poem to read aloud to the group. Or to bring two or three. We will take turns reading what we bring. Please keep poems to three minutes or less so we have the chance to hear a wide range of poems.
Our regular format returns next month. On Thursday, November 5, Ian Thomas will be our featured poet, and we will have the usual ten slots for the open mic.
