The Ships to Shore festival follows the recommendations set by the Richmond Sustainable Event initiative. Additional sustainability initiatives and event features include: Richmond’s Green Ambassadors will be on-site to support proper waste disposal
• Compostable, environmentally-friendly wooden cutlery will be mandatory for all food options
• Attendees are encouraged to bring reusable water bottles and containers and dispose of waste properly using on-site sorting stations.
