Sleepy Hollow Car Show
Get ready for the Annual Sleepy Hollow Sleepy Hollow Car Show! This three-day event in Sechelt, BC, from August 7-9, 2026, celebrates classic cars, hot rods, and specialty vehicles. Join the fun with a scenic Rod Run, a spectacular Show ‘n’ Shine, and Sunday drag racing.
Classic cars, hot rods and specialty vehicles line the streets, filling the air with nostalgia for The Coaster’s Car Club’s annual Sleepy Hollow Rod Run and Show n’ Shine. A three-day event held in Sechelt:
- Sleepy Hollow Rod Run – Friday, August 7, 2026 (Hackett Park, Sechelt to Halfmoon Bay)
- Show n’ Shine in Sechelt – Saturday, August 8, 2026 (Cowrie Street, Sechelt)
- Drag Races – Sunday, August 9, 2026 (Sechelt Airport)
Sleepy Hollow Rod Run – Friday, August 7, 2026
This family-friendly event starts on Friday afternoon with cars registering at Hackett Park, Sechelt for the Rod Run to Halfmoon Bay. Enjoy food and drink from the concession stand at the park.
The 30 km Rod Run cruise starts Friday evening and is led by local RCMP, with 450+ classic cars winding their way through more than 3,000 spectators that line the highway—the cars cruise from Sechelt to the Halfmoon Bay Fire Hall.
Participants are always amazed at the warm welcome and enthusiasm of the cheering crowds that gather alongside the roadway. The spectators make signs, dress in costumes, and place couches/lawn chairs in their driveways.
Show n’ Shine in Sechelt – Saturday, August 8, 2026
Enjoy the Show n’ Shine in downtown Sechelt on Cowrie Street starting Saturday morning. Cowrie Street will be blocked off for pedestrian access only starting early that morning.
The Show N’ Shine Command Centre will be set up on Cowrie Street. There, you’ll find local restaurants and food concession stands, vendor booths and 50/50 ticket sales. Draws all day long, and it’s a great way to win some cash.

Drag Races – Sunday, August 9, 2026 (Sechelt Airport)
Come out to enjoy the Drag Racing at the Sechelt Airport – located at the top of Field Road in Wilson Creek. This event, hosted by the Sunshine Coast Drag Racing Association on a 1/8-mile track, features many classes of dragsters, including top fuelers, exhibition cars, funny cars, street machines, hot rods, and stock classes.
Admission: $10 at the gate for spectators and racers. Children under 12 are free when accompanied by an adult.
