Sunscreen only works when you wear it. As hard as I try, I do not reapply sunscreen to my face as often as I should, mostly because it makes a mess and my skin feels greasy. After you apply, you always have to wash your hands, or it leaves an oily white residue everywhere.
The Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Face & Body Stick Sunscreen is a brilliant solution. I bought the broad spectrum 50+ however, there is a 70 available. It is oil-free and PABA-free. It goes on easily, does not feel like you are wearing sunscreen, doesn’t make a mess, and is only slightly scented. I will put one in my car and the dinghy – it just makes sense. As a bonus for boaters, it is water-resistant for up to 80 minutes. I wore it all day yesterday and re-applied 2 or 3 times; my face loved it. I bought it at Shopper’s Drug Mart for $12 or on Amazon.
