I set out to discover which ice cube would last the longest in my glass. I chose four different types, restaurant cubes, homemade cubes from a tray, giant ice balls and, of course, diamond-shaped cubes. I tried this experiment last year, but, in true Missy fashion, I got to talking and when I turned around, all the cubes were melted.
This year I armed myself with a time-lapse camera and caught the whole thing on video. All of the cubes spent the night before in the same freezer, so they all had a level playing field. I filled each glass with ice and placed them in the hot sun, around 23 Celcius.
And the winner is…..
