Bright Nights goes full steam ahead
Join us for Bright Nights in Stanley Park, a cherished holiday tradition that brings festive cheer to the Stanley Park Railway plaza! Running from November 29, 2024, to January 4, 2025, this magical event, organized by the Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation and the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund, supports burn survivor programs and services.
Experience a dazzling winter wonderland with nearly 3 million sparkling Christmas lights, enchanting displays, train rides, photos with Santa, a tunnel of lights, live entertainment, and delicious seasonal treats like churros, pretzels, and hot chocolate. Over 1,200 off-duty firefighters volunteer to create this breathtaking event, making it the Burn Fund’s largest annual fundraiser.
Ticket Details:
- Operating hours: 4 pm – 10 pm daily (closed December 25).
- Online ticket sales start November 8 at noon PST.
- Prices:
- Ages 13+: $16
- Ages 3-12: $12
- Ages 2 and under: Free
- Early purchase recommended due to high demand. The ticketing system includes a queue; access begins at 11:30 am on November 8 at brightnights.ca.
Accessibility: Guests in wheelchairs and their support persons receive complimentary admission. Accessible tickets can be reserved by calling 1-844-307-7469 from 9 am to 11 am on November 8.
Parking & Transportation:
- Limited parking near the railway due to ongoing construction.
- Main railway lot: $7.50 for two hours.
- Free event parking at the Stanley Park information booth, Vancouver Aquarium, and Lumberman’s Arch.
- Public transit, walking, or cycling is recommended to reduce traffic.
