Equipment

  • Toaster Oven or BBQ

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces Fresh, shelled Centre Bay Dungeness Crab (approximately 2 crabs)
  • 1 package Softened Cream Cheese
  • 2 teaspoon Lemon Juice
  • 2 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F or 190°C
  • In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, lemon juice,  worcestershire, mayonnaise, parmesan cheese, and pepper
  • Separate the large intact crab pieces from the broken up pieces
  • Combine the smaller broken pieces with the cheese mixture and mix well
  • Gently fold in the large intact crab pieces until combined
  • Add the crab dip mixture into a medium casserole or baking dish
  • Bake for about 35-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown
  • Some boaters use garlic, diced onion or green onion but I find it takes away from the sweet taste of the crab
  • Serve with your favorite chips, crackers, bread or vegetables
