Bourbon Cranberry Sauce

Bourbon Cranberry Sauce

A new twist on an old favourite

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups frozen cranberries
  • 1 orange zest and juice
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • ½ cup bourbon

Method
 

  1. For the Bourbon Cranberry Sauce, combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Turn heat to low and reduce sauce until thickened, about 20 to 30 minutes. Let it come to room temperature before serving. Sauce can be made ahead and refrigerated for up to 1 week.
